CASA REGULA è uno splendido, bellissimo appartamento luminoso nel cuore di Lucca all'interno delle mura. Ogni finestra è un'immagine. Splendida vista dalle camere da letto e dal soggiorno!
L'appartamento si trova al PIANO TERRA (senza gradini) di un antico palazzo del 1200. Importante sapere che l'appartamento è stato completamente restaurato di recente e ancora più importante sapere che il proprietario è un architetto, interior designer. .
L'appartamento è dotato di tutti i comfort moderni: lavastoviglie, lavatrice, asciugatrice, wifi, riscaldamento a pavimento, aria condizionata in 2 delle camere da letto con vista sul giardino, grandi ventilatori in ogni stanza, elettrodomestici completi di lusso in cucina.
Amerai l'atmosfera magica di questo luogo. Storia da un lato e servizi moderni dall'altro. Mobili di design. Lampade di design. Sistema musicale in ogni stanza (compresi i bagni) di BANG & OLUFSEN. Dettagli estremamente curati.

L'appartamento è composto da un ingresso, un'ampia e luminosa zona giorno con divano e sedute che si affacciano sul giardino attraverso le grandi vetrate, una sala da pranzo con vista sul giardino e tavolo da pranzo per 8 e una cucina moderna completamente attrezzata con un altro tavolo da pranzo per 4 e un camino. Ci sono 3 camere matrimoniali e due bagni di lusso con grandi docce walk-in. Due delle camere hanno una grande vetrata con vista sul giardino mentre un'altra ha una porta-finestra che si apre sul patio.
Il giardino è molto riservato e appartato così come gli interni della casa: nonostante le grandi finestre non c'è nessun altro edificio che abbia finestre che si affacciano all'interno dell'appartamento. Inoltre, tutte le finestre dell'appartamento (comprese le grandi vetrate che si affacciano sul giardino) sono dotate di uno schermo nero elettrico che rende buio e privacy, quindi non sarà possibile per gli altri membri del gruppo vedere all'interno delle stanze quando si stanno godendo il giardino.
L'appartamento è dotato di tutti i comfort moderni: lavastoviglie, lavatrice, asciugatrice, lavanderia, riscaldamento a pavimento wifi, fax/fotocopiatrice e aria condizionata.
SULLA POSIZIONE
Posizione perfetta nella zona pedonale del centro storico di Lucca tra le due chiese più importanti: San Giovanni (dove ogni sera si può assistere ad un concerto) e San Romano. La principale Piazza Napoleone è proprio dietro l'angolo così come il parcheggio più vicino (meno di 1 minuto a piedi dall'appartamento). La stazione dei treni e degli autobus dista meno di 10 minuti a piedi. Ristoranti e generi alimentari sono a pochi passi di distanza. L'accesso alla passeggiata in cima alle mura della città è proprio dietro l'angolo. Non sono riuscito a trovare un appartamento in una posizione migliore.
È centralissimo.. a pochi passi da tutto!

It was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities we could need - a great, fully equipped kitchen, several dining areas, WiFi, washer and dryer and great nooks to curl up and read. We had never visited Lucca before but it was a charming town with beautiful areas for walking, shopping and sightseeing. The coffee shops, bars and restaurants were also excellent and all close by. The agent, Sonia, met us to give us all the info on the apartment and several suggestions for shops and restaurants. We also arranged to have Chef Cristina meet us with a delicious ‘Welcome Dinner’ upon our arrival. Perfect after a long day of travel! I would highly recommend this property and hope to return one day soon!

While my review is long overdue, it is wonderful to recall the lovely time I spent in this amazing apartment in Lucca. Designed by an Architect and a talented Designer, you can feel the love behind the vision that is evident in all of the special touches that the owner has added to the space to make it feel high-end and luxurious, yet homey. The outdoor spaces (2 of them!) are just amazing - unbelievable to find in a city such as Lucca (or anywhere!). For me, the gourmet kitchen was a home chef's delight complete with a wonderful espresso maker. The bathrooms are elegant and spacious. The sound system is super high tech with a fantastic collection of CDs - even the music volume in the bathrooms can be individually adjusted to your taste. I liked the location - it's near long-term parking and a short walk to the restaurants. I have stayed in many apartments in Europe and the amenities offered exceed any I have visited. I give it my highest recommendation. My very best to the owner, Regula, who is an elegant, charming, warm and lovely person. I felt it truly a privilege to have had the opportunity to stay at this beautiful home and sincerely hope that I have the pleasure to visit again. I visited with the intent to return with a group of friends and learned that the owner also has a larger villa that she rents as well. You can email her about the details if interested.

You can be socialfind a nook to read in. The location is quite, but close to everything. Ms Sonia takes great care with all your request, and is a charming host. It's hard to leave this home and Lucca. Just Perfect.

We were a party of 7 people with 4 adults and 3 children. This apartment is simply gorgeous with beautiful decor, outdoor spaces, and attention to details. The kitchen is very well stocked and we especially enjoyed the coffee in the mornings! The beds were comfortable and the bedrooms quiet. There are two comfortable and usable outdoor spaces with plenty of seating for a large group. The washing machine and dryer were a must for us with children, and the sound system was a treat to listen to Puccini in the evenings (as well as ABBA for our kids). The location is wonderful in Lucca, an easy walk to many things. We had no trouble with parking and made several day trips to Pisa, Siena, Porto Venere, and Florence. It was my parents first trip to Italy and they were just in awe of the apartment and the setting. We have stayed in many holiday homes in Europe, and this was the best! Regula is kind, hospitable, and very accomodating. I cannot recommend this apartment enough!

Our highlights included bicycling in the countryside with a guide and bikes from Chrono, running the half marathon, walking on the old streets, playgrounds with the grandchildren, playing and resting in the private walled garden, bicycling the city walls, wine tours, taking our grandchildren on the carousel and for gelato, and delicious restaurant meals. The apartment exceeded our expectations and is very conveniently located. It was clean, the kitchen is very well-equipped, and we highly recommend staying here. Grazie mille.

I don't even know where to begin..... this place was incredible, every comfort of home available, large and spread out with two separate garden areas, great well stocked kitchen, right in the center of Lucca, walking distance to the train and all of the old town. Owner provides a comprehensive book of information on the villa and Lucca. Her recommendations were perfect.... we used the massage therapist who came to the villa, we used Christine the chef to come in and cook for us, we went to Giuseppe's cooking class TWICE, and visited several of the restaurants recommended. The owner and manager dealt with any questionsissues immediately. We stayed two weeks and would have loved to stay longer. There is just not a single complaint about this property.

There is no better way to discover the joys of Lucca than from you base camp at Casa Regula. This superbly equipped and designed apartment has everything in its locker,kitchen to die for,garden to relax in,lighting to set the scene,music system to entertain you,books to get lost in. We were lucky to arrive and be given the royal tour by owner Regula and her agent Sonia. They took time to ensure that we understood every piece equipment,knew where the best deli's were,the restaurants of the day,sights to see,things to do etc. We were a party of four friends who have travelled to Italy on a regular basis,this was my third visit this year,for over the last 15 years,some of us even longer. We were all agreed this was probably one of our most memorable trips made all that more special by the welcome we received,the delights of Lucca and the comfort of knowing we had at our backs the comforts of Cada Regula. We will return,soon,very soon!

Free parking is only a 20 min walk away outside the walls and a large supermarket is near the free car park. Highly recommended.
